The architectural ensemble of the Benedictine monastery is the epitome heritage of the town, and retains elements as important as its oldest part, the Romanesque Porta Ferrada (X century), which has become a symbol. The church of Our Lady of the Angels, the towers of the Corn and Fum also are part of the monastery, which now houses the Museum of City History and Space Carmen Thyssen.
On the city focused on the cork and cork industry has made a significant architectural legacy. Proof modernist houses from the beach of Sant Pol or stately Paseo del Mar, chaired by Casino Constancia. Other attractions include the Toy Museum, the plates of Cava and Rescue; and the hermitage of San Telmo, one of the most spectacular viewpoints of the Costa Brava, from where Ferran Agulló christened with this name.
